Almost 1000LM of Unifold has recently been installed to the main production area of Triumph Motorcycles Limited.
The company were experiencing leaks into sensitive areas causing much disruption
Several attempts had been made to stop leaks using joint remedial methods and coatings and all of these had failed following a short service period.
Ampteam were asked to provide a Unifold solution for these gutters that comprised of continuous perimeter parapet gutters on four sides of the building intersected by three valley gutters running from the front to rear of the building. The gutters were discharged by sumps feeding 225mm diameter > 150mm diameter coned outlets.
The gutters, corners, tee sections, sumps and outlets were replicated by Unifold with consummate ease. Throughout the installation gutter depths were improved using the insulation depth of the composite roof sheets.
The composite wall cladding was removed for the parapet sections to enable the continuation of the new Unifold Gutter depth.
